How Spaceman works
You place a bet before take-off, watch the multiplier rise and press cash out at the moment you choose. If the astronaut leaves first, the bet is lost. The game supports two bets per round and automatic cash-out at a target you set. It has a live feed of other players' bets, which is context, not information about your own round.
Pragmatic Play lists the RTP as 95% on its Spaceman page, compared with roughly 96.5% for many of its slots.

The arithmetic behind it
At 95% RTP, the expected loss is 5 per 100 wagered. The chance of reaching a multiplier m is about 0.95 divided by m: around 47.5% for 2x, 19% for 5x and 9.5% for 10x. A 5 bet in 200 rounds is 1,000 wagered and about 50 of expected loss, versus about 35 at 96.5% RTP. Crash rounds are short, so total turnover climbs quickly.
The feed of other players' cash-outs and the history of past crashes can look like a pattern. Past crash points do not influence the next one, so the history is not a signal.
Playing Spaceman sensibly
- Treat the 95% listed RTP as the price tag: the same turnover costs more here than in most Pragmatic Play slots, so a smaller turnover budget is reasonable.
- Decide whether the second bet exists in your plan. If it does, give it a different, lower target instead of copying the first.
- Ignore the live feed while you play. Other players' cash-outs are context about them, not about your round.
- Use the auto cash-out for discipline, and check it with a small stake first.

Spaceman: what 1,000 wagered costs at different RTPs
| Game | RTP | Average loss per 1,000 wagered | After 200 rounds of 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spaceman, as listed by Pragmatic Play | 95% | about 50 | about 50 |
| A slot at the often-quoted 96.5% | 96.5% | about 35 | about 35 |
| Aviamasters, as listed by BGaming | 97% | about 30 | about 30 |
How to read the table
The three rows show that a 1.5 point gap in RTP is a 15 unit difference on every 1,000 you wager, which is about 40% more than the 96.5% slot costs. The 95% figure looks small next to 100, but turnover is what it multiplies.
Crash rounds are short, so reaching 1,000 of turnover takes a few minutes rather than an evening. That is why we suggest planning the number of rounds as carefully as the stake. If you only want a quick look at the format, a small total turnover keeps the price of curiosity low.
A sensible way into Spaceman
- Read the RTP in your casino's versionPragmatic Play lists 95%, but confirm the figure shown in the game's info panel before you start.
- Pick a target for bet oneA 2x goal is reached about 47.5% of the time at 95%, 5x about 19%. Choose the one whose gaps you can sit through.
- Decide on bet twoSkip it, or give it its own target and its own share of the budget.
- Mute the feed in your headWatching others cash out at 20x invites you to hold on longer. Your rule was written before the round.
- Check the clockSet a timer; short rounds make the first half hour pass unnoticed.
Common mistakes
- Following a big cash-out on the feed. Someone else's lucky exit has no link to your next flight.
- Assuming a long low streak must end. The previous crash points do not push the next one up.
- Comparing it with a slot. At 95% the cost per unit staked is higher, and rounds finish faster.
- Trusting Spaceman signal groups. A random result cannot be forecast, whatever the screenshot says.

Spaceman: questions
What RTP does Spaceman have?
Pragmatic Play's page lists 95%. Casinos can run other certified versions, so check the number inside the game before relying on it.
Are Spaceman signals real?
No. A crash point is generated at random, so a channel that claims to know the next one is guessing or selling something. Never pay to unlock winnings.
How is Spaceman different from Aviator?
The loop is the same: bet, watch a multiplier rise, cash out before it ends. Spaceman is from Pragmatic Play with an astronaut and a live bet feed; Aviator is from Spribe with a plane. We could confirm a 95% RTP for Spaceman only.
Is there a Spaceman demo?
Often, but it depends on the casino. Use it to learn the controls, not to judge how generous the game is.
How much can I lose in an hour of Spaceman?
As much as your balance. At a listed 95% the average cost is 5 per 100 wagered, and how fast you turn over decides the hourly bill.
Is Spaceman legal where I live?
That depends on local law. Our partner casino is offshore and we cannot confirm a licence in your region, so assume fewer protections than at a locally licensed site.
